We do not do a sales presentation or pressure students to enroll. We definitely want to make sure you get all of the information you need to make a good decision about your future.

This is the most common concern for anyone enrolling into any college. We offer a unique grading system which allows exam retakes. In addition, tutoring is also available for all students upon request. 

Computer Tutor  was established in 1986 in Modesto, California by Lenore Hughes to improve children’s reading, comprehension and mathematical skills. Computer Tutor began offering computer software training and clerical programs to adults in 1989. Accounting courses were added in 1992. In 1997, R. George Rawe became the Director of Computer Tutor . In 1998, Mr. Rawe became the Director/Owner and medical and computer technical programs were added. Because of the expanded program offerings, the Computer Tutor name was changed to Computer Tutor Business & Technical Institute in July 2002. Computer Tutor Business & Technical Institute first received accreditation from ACCSC in March 2003. In February 2014, the Institution moved to a new location at 4300 Sisk Rd. Modesto, CA. Effective August 1, 2017, Stellar Career College, LLC became the new owner of the school and Mr. Zulfiqar A. Satti is President and CEO. In 2020, Stellar Career College opened its second location in Chicago, IL. and third in Crown Point, IN in 2023. 

You can talk to a financial aid officer to discuss your financial options for your chosen program. Our tuition is significantly less than other private colleges in the area. We will do our best to make it affordable for you to invest in your education. We offer federal financial aid to those who qualify and private payment plan options. We can make it affordable for you to invest in your future and make a change.

Our school guarantees every student an exceptional level of support and training, whether you choose a medical office, an accounting course, or one of our other medical courses. An admissions advisor can help you determine if Stellar is the right college for you. We have a unique grading policy which ensures that you will learn and pass!

Your student records are active for one year after completing a course.  After this time, they are kept in a storage facility off campus.  For the initial year, you may request copies of records for a fee of $40.00.  Access to these records is limited after your files become inactive; therefore, 48 hours’ notice and a $60.00 fee are required for retrieval of the file and copies. No. Our programs are focused on hands-on practical training preparing individuals for the workforce. You will train and learn skills that you will transfer directly into the workforce.

Classes here at Stellar are generally less than 10 to 15. This allows students the proper attention from their instructors and also makes them feel more comfortable.

The transferability of credits you earn at Stellar Career College is at the complete discretion of an institution to which you may seek to transfer. Acceptance of the certificate you earn in the educational program is also at the complete discretion of the institution to which you may seek to transfer. If the credits or certificate that you earn at this institution are not accepted at the institution to which you seek to transfer, you may be required to repeat some or all of your coursework at that institution. For this reason you should make certain that your attendance at this institution will meet your educational goals. This may include contacting an institution to which you may seek to transfer after attending Stellar Career College to determine if your credits or certificate will transfer.
