Your first step would be to schedule an admissions appointment. During this visit you will be able to learn details on the program you’re interested in, learn about career outcomes and get answers to all your questions. We do not do a sales presentation or pressure students to enroll. We definitely want to make sure you get all of the information you need to make a good decision about your future.

This is the most common concern for anyone enrolling into any college. We offer a unique grading system which allows exam retakes. In addition, tutoring is also available for all students upon request. 

Computer Tutor  was established in 1986 in Modesto, California by Lenore Hughes to improve children’s reading, comprehension and mathematical skills. Computer Tutor began offering computer software training and clerical programs to adults in 1989. Accounting courses were added in 1992. In 1997, R. George Rawe became the Director of Computer Tutor . In 1998, Mr. Rawe became the Director/Owner and medical and computer technical programs were added. Because of the expanded program offerings, the Computer Tutor name was changed to Computer Tutor Business & Technical Institute in July 2002. Computer Tutor Business & Technical Institute first received accreditation from ACCSC in March 2003. In February 2014, the Institution moved to a new location at 4300 Sisk Rd. Modesto, CA. Effective August 1, 2017, Stellar Career College, LLC became the new owner of the school and Mr. Zulfiqar A. Satti is President and CEO. In 2020, Stellar Career College opened its second location in Chicago, IL. and third in Crown Point, IN in 2023. 

You can talk to a financial aid officer to discuss your financial options for your chosen program. Our tuition is significantly less than other private colleges in the area. We will do our best to make it affordable for you to invest in your education. We offer federal financial aid to those who qualify and private payment plan options. We can make it affordable for you to invest in your future and make a change.

Your student records are active for one year after completing a course.  After this time, they are kept in a storage facility off campus.  For the initial year, you may request copies of records for a fee of $40.00.  Access to these records is limited after your files become inactive; therefore, 48 hours’ notice and a $60.00 fee are required for retrieval of the file and copies.
