They take the time to explain things clearly and are always willing to help when needed. I knew I always wanted to be in the medical field and applying here gave me the push and confidence I needed. Everything was hands on and gave us the experience we needed for the outside world.I felt confident and well-prepared after completing my courses. I’ve met great people along the way and learned so much. I look forward to using my knowledge I’ve gained in the Vet Medicine field. Before starting my journey at Stellar Career College, I knew I wanted more out of life. I was inspired to pursue this path because of my father, who ran a small business and faced constant challenges. Watching him struggle gave me a deep respect for hard work and a passion for helping family-run businesses succeed. At the time, I was working in warehouse and Amazin delivery roles for about three years. I felt stuck in something with no real future, and my family was going through financial instability. I wasn’t able to support them the way I wanted to, and that pushed me to make a serious change.
The Turning Point
When I entered the accounting program, everything started to shift. I remember presenting on liability payments, and for the first time, I felt like I was truly thinking like an accountant—not just learning, but understanding. The transition wasn’t easy. I came from a fast-paced, production-based environment where results were immediate. Moving into an office setting taught me that patience and consistency matter just as much, if not more. Even when I was confident in certain subjects, I treated everything like new material. That mindset helped sharpen my skills and build the discipline I needed.
Real-World Skills, Real Career Growth
The skills I learned at Stellar carried directly into my career. Organization, attention to detail, and consistency became key strengths that I still rely on today.I started in a flexible administrative role and was quickly given opportunities to grow. I worked across multiple departments—payroll, accounting, and eventually tax. At times, it was overwhelming, but I was also excited and motivated to keep learning. A lot of what I studied at Stellar had real-world applications, which made a huge difference.
A Complete Career Transformation
I completely transformed my career path. Starting in an entry-level administrative role, I worked my way up to one of the top advisory positions at the firm that gave me my first opportunity after graduating. Alongside my career growth, I also went back to school and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Business in 2024. That was a huge milestone for me. Even more meaningful was the growth in my personal life. Gaining confidence helped me open up in ways I hadn’t before. I started dating, found my now-fiancé, and we’re planning to get married in September 2026. Looking back, I know my past self wouldn’t have believed I’d be here.
Looking Ahead
Right now, I’m studying for the CPA exam. With the education and experience I’ve gained, I see it as a symbol of everything I’ve worked toward—proof of my growth and commitment to this career.

I also want to recognize Vic. He had a big impact on me. For a long time, I struggled with self-esteem and felt stuck. He believed in me and saw potential in me when I didn’t fully see it in myself.
