As of March 2021 Stellar Career College has resumed normal college operations for in-person instruction. We take health and safety just as seriously as we do education. Any questions regarding our operations during COVID-19 should be directed to the Director of Operations, Vic Lal.
June 11th, 2020
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
On June 15th, Stellar Career College will begin to bring
select students and staff back to campus in small group settings. Starting June
23rd Medical Assisting students will resume on campus instruction.
All returning staff, faculty and students will be required to complete a
COVID-19 health and safety course upon return.
Campus administrators will be reaching out to you directly
with specific scheduling details once it is your time to return to the campus.
The safety of our staff and students is a top priority so we ask for your
continued patience and cooperation during our transition back to campus
operations.
Returning to campus is an important next step as it will
allow for completion of the hands-on instruction that many students need to
graduate. It is important to note that our return to lab instruction on campus
won’t happen all at once. We will start with programs of study that have an
imminent need for hands-on training content and can be administered with proper
health and safety guidelines.
Prioritized courses will be those in which academic outcomes
cannot be achieved virtually, such as laboratory and clinical experiences.
Emphasis is also placed on courses that students must complete in person in
order to be eligible to graduate. SCC will also give preference to those
students who have completed 80% or more of their program.
SCC has been working with local and state agencies and has
developed a phased return to campus plan, which will be scheduled over the
weeks to come.
You will be notified directly when it is your time to return
to campus. Campus administration will meet with each student to determine their
standing and new completion date. In the meantime, for those students who are
active, please continue to attend your classes through the current online
format and if you have any questions please contact Kristina or myself.
Thank you,
Vic Lal
